Chelsea Farmer’s Club
Long before the current heritage explosion in menswear my wife one day came home full of excitement at finding, at what she called then, probably the greatest you ( as in me ) will find here, because, they have a great Gin bar, good music and only clothes you like, meaning, basic, high quality gear that I don’t have to think about. Right she way, as usual. In all honesty, I am your worst nightmare when it comes to shopping, generally, I have a large disdain for all the cool shops, as I just cannot be bothered with the cool guy attitude, crap music and overpriced gear. However, offer me a stiff drink, play some good music and give options like “do you want this in black, racing green or blue?- all the fits are pretty much the same” I’m going to be a loyal happy customer.
The Chelsea Farmer’s Club in Berlin, and now in Düsseldorf, Germany, are just that. In reality, it’s a club for likeminded people, that like a good Gin & Tonic, hunting, good music and where you can, if you want to, buy some high quality British menswear. I’ve been meaning to interview Christopher, the owner ever since we started with The Reference Council, and I finally dragged myself away from the bar to ask him some questions.
Make sure to visit their website here for more information also.
