As you know, we hit up Jacket Required last week on some non-Reference Council related business and got chatting to the good folk at Veras Shoes. The men behind the brand formerly owned Drooghi; a shop which was so ahead of its time that it was stocking Red Wings and 6876 before you even knew what “heritage” or a “taped seem” was. Each shoe from Veras is made by traditional craftsmen in Southern Spain, utilising premium leather and suede to create shoes which are not only so on point, but also affordable. This is the San Jaun shoe, my personal favourite from their JR exhibition. Keep an eye out for their new Spring Summer line which is due to drop soon.
