Gojira- L’Enfant Sauvage

I am certain that most serious fans of heavy metal have got this album already, so this post isn’t really for you but for those of you that are on the edge about this. Gojira have always been promising as a band, but it really is with this album that they have essentially created what I can only coin as the best metal album I have heard for a long time. I have literally listened to the whole album at least twice every day for the last 8 weeks and it just gets better and better. To give it some sort of framework for those who are not familiar with them, imagine if Tool decided to play Death Metal. That’s as close as I can coin it, and it really doesn’t do it justice.

If you are into metal, or want to get into it, do yourself a favour and buy this album, see their shows and support them in any way you can, so we can see more of these incredible artist.
