The Space: John Peel
Some of my first memories of moving to London in 96 were the radio. I used to spend many nights glued to the radio taping shows on the various stations available back then, and it would be a lie to say that John Peel’s radio show wasn’t the one I looked forward to the most. Looking back, I certainly don’t like half the stuff he played, but the time, he was a huge part in broadening my musical horizon. “We’re The Space”, in conjunction with the Arts Council Englad have recreated Mr. Peel’s studio in an amazing website, that allows you to browse through his record collection among many things. If you have any love for music, this is a site you need to spend some time on.
