Posters from the Paris Protests, 1968

In modern times, the student and popular uprising of Parisians in 1968 is to me, one of the most interesting on several levels. Granted, the social and political impact of them are far more important, yet I can’t shy away from the fact that the illustrative talent during that period was brilliant. The Paris Review just put up several examples of what I am talking about with a link to a much larger archive.

Highly recommendable.
