Something Else- Album Of The Week

I don’t want to demean this incredible piece of art by simply reducing it to a weekly listen- quite frankly, I could and have listened to it daily for a long time and I can only recommend it. Much to the dismay of my happy helpers here at the Lodge I have been on a serious jazz tip the last three months and this album is as far as I am considered one of the top 5 jazz albums of all times. Just look at the line up aside from “Cannonball Adderly”, Davis, Blakey and Sam Jones?
