Spring Gear
You can tell that Spring is around the corner, at least around my parts, mostly because it’s staying lighter past 3pm. Which is a real plus, considering we live in darkness for around 4 months. I know, I shouldn’t be moaning, my friends up in Stockholm really have it a lot worse, but damn, I am ready for some sunshine, and less arctic coats and boots.
With that came the obligatory look at my closet last weekend and with that, the realization that I haven’t really gone out and bought some new gear in about 18 months. Sure, the occasional necessity like winter socks, but you know what I mean. Considering that shopping for my taste is also nigh on impossible here, with a few exceptions, I turned to my favourite online stores. In the past years I have bought from all of these, which was really, the only criterion for choosing these 5 stores, namely, The Garbstore, Haven, End Clothing, Union Made and Norse. Obviously, there are other good stores out there but these are the ones I have spent money with and not regretted it.
By now you should know that I am not the most fashionable guy, I like to keep things simple and wearable, in reality, I probably fall into the regular, ” I Hate Shopping” category, and look for clothing that I can mix and match, wear daily without having to use too much brain power. Based on these 5 stores current offerings I chose outfits that I would, and probably will get in the near future, in the hope that along with said purchase I can enjoy the better weather yet to come.
