Burzum – Fallen
Ok, a few things about Burzum, or more specifically Varg Vikernes is a crazy, racist fucking pig. He just got out of prison for one of Black Metal’s most publicized murders.
if you can put that aside, it is undeniable that Burzum is also THE BLACK METAL band way before hip documentaries were made of Norwegian Black Metal. Really, all we need now is a fucking VICE film about him… Anyhow. “Fallen” is his new album, and it is good. Br00tally good I have to say, and I don’t even listen to much Black Metal.

Great list. I sent in some late submissions and most were already covered in here.
Saw Soundgarden w/Queens a couple weeks ago and was blown the fuck away at how amazing it was. They got rid of the crowd pleasers right off the bat then continued on with a heavy pummeling. I could go on and keep the drool flying about each of these choices but I’ll save it. Nice work!
