PJ Harvey -Let England Shake
The only non-metal album on this list- but don’t let this side track you. Her 8th album, again, I’ll have to go as far as saying that this is her best work to date. Coupled with new online promotional tour, which was a little off putting in my book, “Let England Shake” is 100% Harvey and it is not. There is a bunch of new styles and instruments on this album which mark a departure from her traditional work, but that’s not a bad thing at all.

Great list. I sent in some late submissions and most were already covered in here.
Saw Soundgarden w/Queens a couple weeks ago and was blown the fuck away at how amazing it was. They got rid of the crowd pleasers right off the bat then continued on with a heavy pummeling. I could go on and keep the drool flying about each of these choices but I’ll save it. Nice work!
