New Soundgarden Song

Now, I nearly fell of my freakin’ chair when these news rolled through but don’t get your hopes up to high. After teasing us with two shows in the US, the first ones in 13 years, the mighty Soundgarden have now released a “new” track called “Black Rain”. Ok, so it is not new, it was actually recorded during the 1991 Badmotorfinger sessions, which, as you all (should) know, was one fine album.

However, if a song recorded and buried in 1991 sounds as bad ass as this, what does that say about the state of music we are in now?
