Axes & Axles: The Art of Building Cars and Guitars
It’s all about girls, cars & loud guitars and to acknowledge the synergy between guitars a.k.a. “axes” and cars with “axles” Fender put on a kickass exhibition at the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum. The exhibition, starting at September 4th 2010 and ending June 30th 2011, is part of Fender’s celebration of the 60th anniversary of it’s iconic Telecaster guitar. On display are a vast collection of rare photographs, rock memorabilia and personal cars and guitars from rock icons such as Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Michael Anthony, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Billy F Gibbons and many more.
