Eat Dust. One For The Road.
So where are you at with EAT DUST right now?
Keith: Right now, aside from the two jeans we have 3 t-shirts, two hoody’s and one crew neck and two jackets. The jeans come in two fits, one work wear style jacket and one gilet. A Belgian company that is in their 3rd generation of clothing production is who makes our entire product. Up until the 80s they were making product for brands like LEE but obviously, that all stopped with production moving to China back then. They still have a lot of the original stitching machines and what not, which is great. The denim is from Japan; double ring spun 13 ¼ ounce, pure indigo blue selvage from Korabe. I know, nothing groundbreaking these days but for what we have we can offer really competitive prices, which was important to us. Our jeans will retail between 150 and 160 Euros, which I feel is fair to everyone involved.
So what are your plans for the future?
Rob: Ha, plans for the future. As long as we can still ride and work on our bikes, make some money of this brand I’ll be happy. Keith and I talked about using some of this hypothetical money to open up a store for EAT DUST also – but that’s all future talk. We’re just happy to get this going and to have this opportunity.
