Stylish Spectacle

OliverPeoplesTrust me, I really wanted to hate “A Single Man”, the directing debut of fashion designer Tom Ford. I love beautiful things, but a movie? That’s too much. Stay away, I thought, leave directing to some talented youngster.

Unfortunately the movie which plays in 1962 turned out to be a real hit. Needless to say it initiated the immediate desire to throw out my entire wardrobe and replace it with a sleek Sixties silhouette. Maybe a new pair of spectacles is a start.

The Sheldrake by Oliver Peoples has the right feel.
