Nowness just posted a great piece of film history, in short: Basquiat painting live. There has never really been a real-live moving footage of modern arts most amazing artist and amazingly this piece has knowingly been hiding in a friends vault for some 20 years.

Opening on June 3 and running to July 15, 2010, Esposus Space presents "Clayton Patterson: Pyramid Portraits." The exhibition features never-before-seen photographs by Patterson from the legendary New York Club. The material all dates from the mid-1980s. Something to get excited about.
