Design and the Art of Reduction at the Vitra Design Museum

Design-2If you have ever have the chance to pop down to Weil Am Rhein, which coincidentally houses the Carhartt/Edwin Europe HQ as well as their magnificent outlets, you must by all means take some time to visit the Vitra offices and museums. Divided into twelve sections grouped under the headings Manufacture, Function, Aesthetics and Ethics, the exhibition puts forth the motifs, motivations and strategies pursued by design in its quest for efficiency.
